Depart by car to the River City boat landing for take a boat trip to visit the Chinese Shrine on the bank of the river near Wat Anongkharam. The Shrine is established over 200 years ago during Thonburi period. Then continue to the site of Queen Mother former house which is now set up as a memorial museum to the late Queen Mother. Next stop is at Wat Santa Cruz, then stroll around the local village of Kudi Chin and a stop at local bakery. Return to the boat and continue the journey to Wat Rakang for a unique triplex scripture hall aged over 200 years that once used to be the house of King Rama I when he was Chao Praya Chakri. Visit other historical sites in the temple. Drop off at Phatravadee Theatre and lunch at the Supatra River House Restaurant. |
