The Army Hotel built around 1960 and the latest renovation was in 2002, Army hotel is the only one three star hotel in downtown Hanoi having a swimming pool. The large swimming pool with garden surround it, located at peace and quiet place are feature that make the Army hotel is one of the prettiest hotel in Hanoi, especially for long stay. As its name suggests, Army hotel is the hotel belong to Military Ministry of Vietnam. About five minutes walk from the Hoan Kiem Lake, it's located in a quiet street near the Opera House and the History Museum.
